Day 30.

Day 30: A picture of you today & 20 goals you want to accomplish.

Alright, so I'm going to be honest.  I started this post on Sunday when I published the other posts.  So what stopped me? Well, it was the picture thing.  You see,  on Sunday I had to get up early to take care of Porter.  Taking care of a brand new puppy (potty training, feeding, napping, playing, etc.) takes a lot of time and energy so I didn't have a lot of time for self-care on Sunday.  Basically, I was in my Eeyore pajamas, a hoodie, and my hair was sticking up in all different directions! So instead of posting an awful picture of myself on that day, I'll post a picture of the cute little reason for the awful picture.  I'm sure you would much rather see his fuzzy little face than my wacky hair anyway!
20 goals:
1. Lose weight and maintain it.
2. Get my Masters degree.
3. Unpack my house!!!!!
4. Keep the house clean.
5. Successfully potty train Porter.
6. Make a pie.
7. Start a workout routine.
8. Get back into regular blogging.
9. Find a job I love.
10. Have a child.
11. Get my LPA (licensed psychological associate).
12. Go to Boston to visit my BBB :)
13. Make more friends.
14. Get back into scrapbooking.
15. Finish a paper/project ahead of time.
16. Decorate our house.
17. Host a holiday meal.
18. Go camping with my husband.
19. Spend a week in Chicago with my family.
20. Learn how to dance.

So, two days late but I'm done! Woo hoo!

Day 29.

Day 29: In the past month, what have you learned.

The past couple of months have been huge learning experiences for me.

- People change, not always for the better.
- People can be extremely selfish and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure their own happiness, even if it means destroying the happiness of others.
- There are also good people who will surprise you.
- Being an adult isn't always fun, but it definitely has its perks!
- I have learned that I love being married and actually enjoy taking care of the house when I have time.
- potty training a puppy is hard!

Day 28.

Day 28: A picture of you last year and now, how have you changed since then.

Last year:
This year:
I don't think physically I've changed very much over the past year.  I may be a few pounds heavier but not a drastic gain.  Otherwise, I am much more independent than I was last year.  I went from being a girlfriend to a wife, a renter to a homeowner, and from depending on my dad financially to being financially independent.  I'm not complaining at all, and besides the weight gain I'm proud of how I've changed :)

Day 27.

Day 27: Why are you doing this 30 day challenge?

I first saw this challenge on my BBB's blog.  Challenges are more fun when you have someone to do them with, so I volunteered myself to be her challenge buddy! Haha! I read over the questions and thought it would be fun and a good way to keep me motivated to blog.  Unfortunately I did not think about how busy this month would be so my day posts have mainly all been on the weekends, but at least I have a post for every challenge. That's got to count for something right?

Day 26.

Day 26: Places you want to visit before you die.

Hmmm...

- I have never been west of the Mississippi river, so I would love to do that, even if it's just to the other side!
- Boston to visit my Best Bloggy Buddy!
- Italy, because, well, why not?
- Hawaii
- Alaska. I bet it is so beautiful!
